ExBox® is a patented certified enclosure
(CZ 308042, CZ 310739) for housing electrical installations in explosive atmospheres.
Developed and manufactured by
ATHEX Technology Ltd., Zlín, Czech Republic.
Its modular ALU construction is designed for ATEX environments (Zones 2/22 and 1/21), with IP68 / IP69, IK10, range of −40 to +70 °C.
Unlike standard enclosures, ExBox protects sensitive technology where explosion risk, dust, moisture and extreme temperatures are present. One certified enclosure replaces several single-purpose solutions. 20-year aluminium guarantee.

The foundation is a certified aluminium enclosure with a flameproof closure "d" — a sealed construction for the safe housing of electrical installations in Ex environments. Using the system configurator, it extends into product lines and custom configurations.
