SATOP unites forces in Brno: Alternative solutions for military base Construction

At the initiative of ATHEX Technology s.r.o., a call to unite SATOP members took place in late April 2024 at the University of Defence in Brno (UNOB). SATOP members are engaging their own structural solutions and products for the prototypical construction of new types of bases, including assembly and disassembly, equipment, infrastructure, and accommodation.

ATHEX brings together three innovations: the modular Tight Closure system, the MOBILOT structural framework, and the Fast Cubes polymer construction kits (developed by A4 Conti s.r.o.).

The goal of the SATOP meeting was to find a path for how we, with our unique competencies, knowledge, and products, can align toward common objectives. The core of our presentation was to highlight our mutual commitment and to recognize the potential of this opportunity — which led to further discussion on specific base and field camp solutions.

The design session played a key role in identifying the military’s needs, which is essential for developing alternative solutions tailored to those demands. This step marks a significant moment in refining these alternatives based on concrete tasks. Moreover, our solutions are not limited to military use — they are also adaptable for civilian applications, expanding our offering to a broader market.
